Despite driving through pouring rain not 20 minutes before we arrived at Ozette, the weather turned warm and sunny for us. We began our trip on a couple of miles of very slippery boardwalk which wound through a lush and moist forest. Cedar slipped and fell into the foliage beside the boardwalk once, and Ali came close a couple of times too
