Noble Nob

  This is about a quarter mile after the beginning of the hike.  The hill in the center of the pic is where the trail goes.  Get ready for lots more good scenery (and weird smiles from me).   The Mountain (Rainier). It's hazy partly because of a forest fire (you'll see the smoke in later pics).   Laboring for fruit. There were a ton of blueberries.  The fruits of our labor. (did we mention how many blueberries there were?)  I think our destination is behind Cedar's left shoulder (the nob near the center of the pic).  I bet there are great wildflowers in early summer.
