I’m a brainwashed commando
In my dream I was reading a history book about marines fighting in Iraq during Desert Storm. It was about these young people flying f-15 fighter jets into combat and getting shot down, then having to fight in the desert. Then I noticed that one of the marines was named “Cedar McKay”. WTF? So I started to look at other names and noticed that all of them were Westtown (my quaker high-school) graduates and my former class-mates. I started investigating and discovered that rather than a peaceful little boarding school run by pacifist quakers, Westtown was secretly a training camp for creating brain-washed commandos who forget their true identities after completing a mission. Yes ….. I am crazy.

The name Cedar… is that your rreal name? My wife’s name is also Cedar. It’s very rare to know someone named Cedar so I thought I would ask. Also do you know of any other Cedars?

Cedar isn’t my legal name, but I have been called that by everyone I know, including my parents since I was about 3 days old. I don’t know why they didn’t just legally name me Cedar in the first place. I certainly think of myself as “Cedar”. Say hi to your wife for me. We Cedars need to stick together.
