Blind Black Cats
I was in an infinite white space, like I was in a blank universe. I was standing alone in all that infinite space with no one else except for about 30 black cats. These cats were attacking me.
I didn’t know why and I could think of anything other than kicking and punching and throwing these cats which were leaping and diving at me. I began to realize that despite clearly hating me these cats were terrible fighters. Most of the time they would pounce on me and completely miss. Often they would face the wrong way then pounce, yowling and scratching in completely the wrong direction. I was surrounded by a gnat-like cloud of cats thirsting for my blood. Somehow I realized that they were all blind except for one cat that could see. All the other cats could see only what that one cat could see. So the cat that could see would face me and successfully pounce on me. All the other cats would see me (through the first cat’s eyes) right in front of them and pounce, even though they were completely wrong about where I was. However, there was some mysterious force keeping them within my general vicinity, they did not just leap yowling away to the horizon. Once I figured all this out, it was a simple matter to KO the head cat and be done with them.
