Still no name yet. We looked up the words for ear, copper, bronze, smile in lots of languages but none move us.
She slept loose in our bedroom last night. She did great. She woke up and did the “bat flap” ears, so just in case I took her out around 2am. She peed and we went back inside. I took her out again at 7am, then we slept til 9am. It’s
really hard to believe how good she’s being. Right now she’s taking a nap and snoring. They say that the shelter deprives the dogs of sleep. I think maybe she’s starting to feel comfortable enough to sleep soundly now. That’s a good sign. It’s possible that she’s been so mellow because she’s tired. She’s dream twitching now. So cute!
She met our friend Britta last night. She liked her. I’m going to take her to eat lunch with Cedar today and I’ll take her to a Frisbee practice too. I’m curious to see how she does there.
I’ll take some more pictures today. (You’ll get sick of the pictures, I’m sure).
